When I was little, I really wanted to be part of the world that was happening in the future. I would look into the future and see a world without war. A world where all people were treated equally. A world where everyone was happy and no one had to suffer because of discrimination.

A world where all people were free. I used to wish that someday I would be part of that future, but now I realize that this is not the future that will come to pass. The world is not perfect, but it is better than it was before our parents were born.
